So two nights ago I was sitting here around 9:30pm debating whether or not I should enroll Riggs in preschool (2 days a week from 9-12). I sent the director an email (via Facebook - HA) letting her know my thoughts and she responded within half an hour (now that's what I call service - THANKS Missy!). I was late in deciding because for starters, Riggs is NOT Emery. She was and is very independent. She needed the socialization. Riggs seems to be quite the opposite but I thought it would be good for him AND for me. The next morning I was on my way to the school for orientation. After orientation, we headed to the store to find a backpack. He requested Dora but that wasn't going to happen. He didn't even want Spiderman, Batman or Transformers. Once I showed him the green one, he was happy. I let him review his choices one more time and he still chose the green one. Good choice.
Riggs has the same teachers Emery had so dropping him off was MUCH easier. Just like Emery, he too enjoyed cookies when he got home from his first day at preschool. :)
