Happy 5th Birthday Klein!

Had a small celebration for Klein to celebrate his 5th birthday! Our baby is five. Hard to believe. We had everything set up outside and ready to go - slip & slide, dinner, treats, decorations, and pinata. Then the sky fell out. We were optimistic it wouldn't because it hadn't rained here in ages. So much for that. Had to move the everything inside where everyone was nice and cozy as well as very patient with everything we had to adjust for. Happy Birthday Klein! You definitely make our family complete. :) Klein Facts: LOVES dinosaurs, likes being outside, would eat a hotdog every day if he could, learning to read, can "hold his own", becoming better at being patient, likes to play on Emery's Kindle, enjoys building with Magna-Tiles and Electronic Snap Circuits, can color like a champ.

Washington DC

Family vacation to DC was good, nice and educational. We'd like to go back in a few years to see a few things we missed. And maybe walk a little less. A shout out to the kiddos for hitting 11 miles in one day. They were champs.

A Summer Day

What we're doing in the middle of the day when it's too hot to be outside - eating snacks while reading a book. That's right after watching a movie together. :) I would be perfectly happy if time would stand still.
