We've Been "Egged"

A HUGE THANK YOU to Jordan and Tyler for "egging" our backyard! The kids were so excited when Emery read the letter left at our front door. It was so much fun to watch their excitement. Emery found the "golden egg" which was a very generous egg. :) She was one happy girl. I love the group photo, even Maggie was smiling for the camera. Easter is next week - what a GREAT way to start the celebration! Thanks again, Jordan and Tyler - you're the best!!

Weekend Update

First soccer games of the spring season! Riggs did pretty good. He was a little more active than last season. Instead of laughing, screaming and running aimlessly, he tried to go after the ball. Much improvement. :)
Emery did well also. Scored the first goal of the season again. Nice. The game seemed a little "rough". She was pummeled a few times and she even pummeled others a few times but it was amazing how she bounced back up and kept running. She ran right over one thick kid (twice her size), bounced off his belly and never missed a beat. We got a good laugh out of that one. We're excited for more!
Couldn't pass up a "weekend update" without a pic of the bow tie boys. The first picture makes us laugh. Klein is definitely the boisterous one.

Update

This is where I found Klein at 6:45 this morning. We heard him get out of his crib but never heard him head our way. I knew exactly where he was. Sure enough, as soon as I poked the camera around the corner he grinned and said, "Cheese!"

Emery's shiner. It's healing nicely but man she looked rough for the first few days. We told her she was beautiful and she responded, "Not like this!" :)

Crib Climber

When I went to get Klein yesterday morning, this is how I found him...OUTSIDE of his crib. Actually, he was just standing by the door, waiting on me. He was holding 2 scriptures, his pants were all the way off (except for one foot, which was caught) and he had one of Emery's flip flops on. We (nor is he) are not ready for a toddler bed. I guess we could get one of those cage/net type things. This afternoon he demonstrated for Rob how he climbs out. It's not the safest thing but Rob was fairly impressed. Me, not so much.

Ouch!

Avatar girl bumped her head on the chin up bar while at Riggs' soccer practice. She thought the bar was higher than it was so instead of catching it with her hands, she caught it with her face. Ouch! Klein may have one to match her soon. He is now climbing out of his crib. I'm not prepared for that.
