Graduation Speech

As a 4th grader, Emery was chosen (voted) by her class to give a speech at the 5th graders graduation. Twelve kids "tried out" for the opportunity (including Em) and her class voted her to give hers. She did a GREAT job! Very impressive. Then again, I knew she would be. ;) She is holding a torch that is passed down from the 5th grade class to the rising 5th graders. It was a very enjoyable graduation experience.

Piano Recital

Em's piano recital was on Saturday, May 30th. She did an EXCELLENT job. It's most definitely not her favorite thing to do but she plays so well. We are always so amazed to watch her. She is now excited for the summer when she gets a little break until lessons begin in the fall. I'm good with that - she's earned it. :)
Flowers from Grandma & Papa  :)
Her piano teacher, Mrs.Sarah
Riggs friend and classmate, Kendall who also takes piano.
Emery's friend and classmate, Alicia who also takes piano.

Preschool Graduation

Klein "graduated" from preschool on Thursday, May 28th. It was a lot of fun to watch. The pictures had me in stitches, especially the two where no one is paying any attention whatsoever except for Klein. He is one proud little guy, and so are we. Hard to believe he's moving on to kindergarten. Our third little one is growing up at the speed of light. Just like his siblings.

Everything in Between

Camping in the backyard.

Em crocheted a scarf.  Impressive.  Really impressive.
Torturing Tally.  As usual.  ;)

Happy Memorial Day

Rob had the opportunity to take the boys to the Fort Jackson Cemetery on Memorial Day for the Wreath Laying Ceremonies. He said it was a really good experience. Riggs was interviewed by a local newspaper and they were also on the news (just in the crowd). Glad the boys could be a part of this.
